One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

The 2-year-girl who was the center of a multi-state AMBER Alert was found safe at Southand Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis Friday.
FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) - A Forrest City woman has been arrested after police found over $8,000 of marijuana in her home.
On Thursday, the Forrest City Police Street Crimes Unit, Special Response Team, and detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division searched a home on Laughrun Drive.
There they found over 400 grams of marijuana. Police say it was pre-packaged for resale and had an estimated street value of $8,200 dollars.
Police also found a prescription bottle containing codeine in it. They say the name on the bottle didn't match anyone inside the home. Several items of drug paraphernalia were also found during the search.
FCPD arrested Rochelle Dawson, 21. She's faces possession of controlled substance with purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia charges.
She was arraigned Thursday in St. Francis County District Court.
