32 people arrested on drug charges after long investigation

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A few dozen people have been arrested on drug charges early Friday morning.

Thirty-two people are being held in custody on drug charges from both Mississippi and Scott counties.

According to Officer Kevin Glaser with the South East Missouri Drug Task Force the warrants all involved either sales or distribution or manufacture of controlled substances. All of the warrants involved some sort of felony charges.

The arrests are the result of a year and a half long drug investigation by the SEMO Drug task Force. In addition to the 32 warrants, five people were arrested on charges that did not involve drugs.
