City Youth Ministries Host Fundraiser Concert

JONESBORO -- City Youth Ministries is hot spot in Jonesboro where kids learn everything from basketball moves to bible stories. The non-profit organization held their second annual fundraising concert at the Forum in Downtown Jonesboro Friday night. Directors of the organization say they are relying on community support now more than ever because the increasing number of kids who walk thought their doors every month. Last March they had a record high of twelve hundred kids. Last month fourteen hundred youth showed up their doorsteps.

   Friday's concert featured Christian music sung by various people. The City Youth kids choir also made their debut. More than a hundred people came out to support City Youth. Directors of the organization say they keep an open door policy at their facility Downtown Jonesboro and anyone who is interested in seeing what goes on there is welcomed to stop by.
