A Florida high school student accused of setting off an explosion at school made her first public statement Wednesday.
JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – The city of Jonesboro was awarded a grant to help with a local park.
The city was awarded a half a million dollar Outdoor recreation grant from the department of parks and tourism for a Miracle League Playground.
The grant is a half and half match. The 250-thousand dollars from the Department of Parks and Tourism will be matched with support from local contractors.
The money will be used to construct a Miracle League Sports Field and playground at the southside Ball Park on South Caraway Road.
