CARROLLTON, GA - (WALB) -

Valdosta State continues to struggle in Gulf South play.

The Blazers fall 72-62 at West Georgia Thursday night.

The highlight for the VSU men was Josh Sparks.

Sparks blocked 8 shots to become the VSU career leader.

The Lady Blazers fall a game under .500 in conference with a 67-44 loss to the Lady Wolves.

Brittney Nelson had 14 points and 14 rebounds for the Lady Blazers.
