Tyler Police are investigating an armed robbery at a local motel.
Authorities tell us it happened around 11:40 p.m. Thursday at the Lone Star Motel in the 3200 block of West Gentry Parkway.
Right now, Tyler Police tell us that a man was sitting in his truck when he was approached by what he believes was a black male in a ski mask. That's when the suspect showed a handgun and demanded money. The victim handed over an unknown amount of money, and that suspect fled the scene.
The case is still under investigation. If you have any information on this robbery, you are asked to contact the Tyler Police Department.
