A Southeast Missouri woman wrapped up a big week by taking home a piece of the record $600 million Powerball jackpot.
BAXTER COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – The Sheriff's Office recovered a body from a car found in Lake Norfork on Saturday morning.
According to the Sheriff's Department, they were notified around 11:00AM that a vehicle was found about 10 to 12 feet under the murky water off the end of the dock at the Calamity Beach boat launch area.
A diver for the sheriff's department dove down to check the vehicle and found the body of a man inside.
Both the body and vehicle were recovered from the lake. The vehicle is registered to a person who has been missing since October 2012.
The body will be sent to the examiner's office for identification and to determine the cause of death.
