One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

(KAIT) – A Bald Knob man is dead after police say he was hit by another driver
while standing outside his car.
According to
Arkansas State Police, Delbert Brooks of Bald Knob died after being hit on U.S. 67 near mile marker 53, Tuesday just before 5:30p. Police say Brooks was outside of his vehicle
which was parked on the southbound shoulder along with another car.
Police then say an
SUV traveling north on the same highway lost control, crossed the median and hit
Brooks as well as the two vehicles on the shoulder.
No other injuries
were reported.
The crash report
indicates the road conditions were slick and icy at the time of the crash.
