WYNNE, AR -
(WMC-TV) - Search teams are out again looking for a Wynne, Ark. police officer who was last seen Friday.

Officer Nick Swink disappeared into the St. Francis River Friday while hunting with friends.

Investigators said the group stopped to relieve themselves and Swink lost his footing.

On Saturday, rescuers put three boats in the St. Francis Bay and scoured the waters and dredged the area.

Rescuers have been searching for him since he fell.

The Cross County Sheriff said rescuers were out Wednesday searching the river using dogs and underwater cameras, in what likely is now a recovery mission.

The 24-year-old officer worked for the Wynne Police department for four years.

He had been hired by Cross County as a deputy but had not yet started work when he fell in the river.

He is also married.

The Cross County sheriff said the search will continue no matter how long it takes to find Nick Swink.
