A Southeast Missouri woman wrapped up a big week by taking home a piece of the record $600 million Powerball jackpot.
JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - An armed robbery suspect's father has been arrested and charged in connection with a convenience store robbery.
On Thursday, Darrell Lamar Boyd was charged with aggravated robbery. Jonesboro police say Boyd was the "lookout man" for two other suspects, Alvin Jones Junior and Darrell Boyd Junior who are accused of robbing the Sam's Quick Shop at Caraway and Matthews on January 20.
Detectives say they found text messages and recorded conversations at the jail connecting all three men.
Alvin Jones Junior and Darrell Boyd Junior are both charged with aggravated robbery and theft by receiving.
Police say before 9pm Sunday night, the two men walked into the Sam's Quick Stop near the intersection of Caraway and Matthews with a gun before running away. Police say the gun used in the robbery was stolen.
If found guilty, Boyd Sr., Boyd Jr. and Jones could face 10 to 40 years in prison.
Boyd Sr. is scheduled to be in court again March 3.
