DELTA, MO (KFVS) - A fire was reported early Monday morning at a large rural farmhouse on 955 County Road 973 in Delta, Mo.

According to Delta Fire Chief Alvin Frank, six people were inside the home, 3 adults and 3 children, and all got out safely.

Reportedly, the adults awoke to the house being full of smoke and by the time everyone was out safely, the fire was coming out of the roof.

Red Cross was notified to help the family with a place to stay overnight.

Whitewater, Advance, Oran, Gordonville and Delta emergency services were all called to the scene.
