Woman arrested after officers find meth

HEBER SPRINGS, AR (KAIT) – A Pangburn woman has been arrested after a search warrant by officers turns up meth and meth-making materials.

According to the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Melinda Harp was arrested on January 14 and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Investigators and agents with the 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force along with the Heber Springs Police Department executed a search warrant on a camper trailer located on Walnut Street in Heber Springs.

Investigators say they found several items used to make and consume meth.  A liquid was also discovered that tested positive for meth, according to officers.

Harp is being held in the Cleburne County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
