One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

HEBER SPRINGS, AR
(KAIT) – A Pangburn woman has been arrested after a search warrant by officers
turns up meth and meth-making materials.
According to the
Cleburne County Sheriff's Office, Melinda Harp was arrested on January 14 and
charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Investigators and
agents with the 16th Judicial
District Drug Task Force along with the Heber Springs Police Department
executed a search warrant on a camper trailer located on Walnut Street in Heber
Springs.
Investigators say
they found several items used to make and consume meth. A liquid was also discovered that tested
positive for meth, according to officers.
Harp is being held
in the Cleburne County Detention Center on $20,000 bond.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital has treated so many babies born dependent on prescription drugs that the facility is now helping other medical centers around the country deal with the crisis.
