    A body recovered amid an intensive search is believed to be that of a missing 18-month-old girl whose mother was found dead along with two men on a Kansas farm days ago, authorities said Sunday.

FORREST CITY, AR (KAIT) – Two people are arrested in the murder investigation of Joey Rucker in Forrest City on Tuesday.

The Forrest City Criminal Investigation Division arrested 18-year-old Shannon Parchman and 22-year-old Jeremy Buchanan.

Forrest City police responded to Ash Street on January 17.  Police say they found Joey Rucker, 21, inside his home with a single gunshot wound to the chest.  He was taken to the Forrest City Medical Center where he later died.

In a statement Chief Reynolds said,

"My prayers and condolences go out to the family of Joey Rucker. It's always a relief to bring closure and justice to the family. It's sad that you have young people committing these acts of violence against each other. A message to those who want to solve your problems with violence, we the Forrest City Police Department will be relentless in our pursuit of justice." 

Buchanan was arrested for First degree murder, Four counts of Attempted First Degree Murder, Endangering welfare of a child, and Possession of a firearm.

Shannon was arrested for First degree murder, four counts of Attempted First degree murder, and Endangering the welfare of a child.

According to the St. Francis County Jail, Buchanan is out on bond. Shannon Parchman is currently being transferred
