Some local drivers have feared that a bridge collapse like the one in Washington State this week could happen closer to home. People have been particularly fearful of the aging Black River Bridge that connects Black Rock and Portia on U.S. 63 in Lawrence County.

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Jonesboro police and fire crews are working the scene of a one vehicle wreck involving a tree Tuesday morning.
Two people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident. They are out of the vehicle and have been taken to St. Bernards with minor injuries, according to officials with the Craighead County Sheriff's Office.
According to Jonesboro E-911 Director Jeff Presley, the accident happened on North Culberhouse at County Road 304.
Presley says there was entrapment and air rescue had been called to the crash site.
Use extreme caution if you have to travel through that area as crews are still cleaning up the wreck.
