JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - As many Americans rang in the New Year several of them were hit hard by 2013 new tax rates. Several people in Region 8 are trying to make new ends meet and Productive Staffing is helping them do just that.

"We've definitely seen an increase in volume come through our doorway," said Marketing Rep, Ethan McNece.

The month of January has been very busy for Productive Staffing and McNece said he's seen how new tax rates in the US are affecting many right here in the community.

"Taxes have definitely gone up and we're seeing a lot of our employees come and say hey we need supplement income. We need a part time job in the afternoon or we need some part time work in the morning or the weekends," McNece said.

McNece explained how just this week they experienced one women who came in that was already employed but was trying to find extra work.

"She's been there with the company for years and she's just looking for more employment to supplement her income," McNece said.

Not only is Productive Staffing looking to help those in need of a job but they're also seeking companies and businesses that need to fill positions.

"If there are any businesses out there that need workers I mean we can definitely fill all your staffing needs," McNece said.
