MYRTLE BEACH, SC (AP) -

A Myrtle Beach woman has been arrested after police say she choked a man for taking too much of the covers in the bed they shared.

Authorities say 42-year-old Tina Berryhill Rucker was arrested Wednesday around 11 p.m. and charged with criminal domestic violence.

Police say a man told them he was lying in bed with Rucker when he tried to pull more of the blanket that they shared to his side.

He says Rucker jumped on top of him and tried to choke him. Police said the man was bleeding where Rucker had scratched him in the neck.

Authorities say Rucker was intoxicated and uncooperative. She was being held without bond. It wasn't known if Rucker had an attorney.
