A deadly accident in Crittenden County Monday afternoon kills two Wynne residents.
MARMADUKE, AR (KAIT) – Marmaduke Police say the man behind the wheel of a car that plowed into the high school Monday night has been arrested.
Police say 47-year-old Richard Burks of Marmaduke was arrested for careless driving, prohibited driving, and DWI drugs. He is currently in the Greene County Jail and is set to appear in court again on February 27.
Police say Burks crashed his 2010 Ford Focus into the front lobby of the Marmaduke High School around 5:50 Monday night.
No one was injured in the crash, but an estimated $15,000 worth of damage was done to the front lobby of the gym.
