A-State Pride Day

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Arkansas State University celebrated it's annual "A-State Pride Day" today.

Students, faculty and staff celebrated with a variety of games, food and fun events, along with some creative office decorations.

"It's a way for people to get recognized. It's really important to appreciate the different people on campus who do what they do. And so, we have awards that we hand out to really show those people who give that school spirit. Contributing to your school is really important because it helps build it up," said SAB Spirit Club Director Charmaine Foster.

The dining hall department received first place for it's Red Wolf Den, complete with Howl taking it easy watching an ASU basketball game on television.

The SAB is also holding a "craziest fan competition" during tonight's A-State v. South Alabama men's basketball game.
