One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

Region 8 News investigates the crime numbers for the city of Jonesboro. From January to April of 2013, Jonesboro Police dealt with 17 aggravated robberies in the city.
JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – World Imports is recalling over 8,000
bunk beds due to safety violations.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the
openings on the metal rails are more than allowed and pose a risk for
entrapment or asphyxiation hazard.
No injuries or incidents have been reported with this
recall.
CPSC says customers should immediately stop using the beds,
and contact the firm for a free repair kit.
