Authorities say a teenager was killed in northwest Arkansas on Monday night when storm debris crashed into his car.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – A nursing home worker was charged for stealing from patients in Walnut Ridge.
According to the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Crystal Land of Hoxie was charged with felony theft of property before she posted bond. She worked for the Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center, and her job duties included shopping for residents.
Land was interviewed in connection with allegations made by several residents that had money stolen from them. The sheriff's office states she admitted during the interview she spent money from residents.
Investigators say Land admitted to not turning in receipts so purchases could not be traced back to her.
Land told officers she went shopping at multiple businesses and paid some of her own bills. She also told officers she took funds multiple times per week.
Arkansas' state treasurer is being accused of repeatedly taking cash payments, sometimes in a pie box, from a broker who saw his share of business with the state increase in recent years.
