JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Jonesboro Worship Center held an event on Saturday to raise money for a local ministry with noble acts.

They held the Second Annual worship concert to help raise money for the Shepherd's Fold, a ministry that helps men and women recover from drug and alcohol abuse.

Scott Loyd with the Jonesboro Worship Center says it feels good to host this kind of event.

"We're just grateful for everyone's that came out tonight. We had close to two-hundred people, it's just great to know that people care about men that are struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and that they see that people's lives can be changed by the power of the gospel", say Loyd.

The event consisted of musical performances and speakers from the shepherd's fold ministry. All the money raised went toward the ministry.
