Cleburne Co. Sheriff's Office asks for your help

CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) – The Cleburne County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help to help locate a couple of stolen items.

Here's a list to the stolen items:

  • Mack dump truck
  • Winston trailer
  • Caterpillar rubber tired backhoe

According to the sheriff's office the items were stolen from the Cleburne County Road Shop at 810 Scott St. in Heber Springs.

They say the lock on the gate was cut off. The backhoe was on the trailer which was hooked to the dump truck.

If you have ANY information about the items, please call the Heber Springs Police Department or the Cleburne County Sheriff's office.

    Prosecuting Attorney Henry Boyce says his office has filed charges against a Pocahontas man accused of beating another man with a bat. The victim later died from his injuries.
