LONGS, SC (WMBF) – Another one of "Horry County's Most Wanted" is back behind bars, thanks to a tip to the Horry County Sheriff's Office.

Richard Hemingway, wanted for attempted murder, was arrested in the Longs area of Horry County Tuesday afternoon and taken to the J. Reuben Detention Center after a tip to the Warrant Division of the sheriff's office.

Horry County deputies, along with Horry County Police officers and members of the US Marshals Task Force, acted on the tip and located 24-year-old Hemingway at a residence, according to a release from the sheriff's office. He was apprehended after a short foot chase.

Hemingway was wanted for allegedly shooting at a car on Sweet Bar Road back in January of 2011. Those bullets sent one man to the hospital with critical injuries to his arm and abdomen.
