Concert and Sing-A-Long Featuring Brian Kinder.

July 27, 2004--Posted at 6:00 p.m. CDT

JONESBORO--"I'm not a lizard you are,"said Brian Kinder.

Brian Kinder is a teacher during the school year.

He teaches kindergarten at Washington Elementary School in Little Rock, and in the summer he travels around entertaining.

He writes all of his songs, and this one man show delivers an interactive performance that keeps kids singin' along.

Kinder says his shows get the kids imagination going........and whether you're young or old,  he promises one thing........

".......we're going to have a rollicking good time,"said Kinder.

Toes will be tapping through the whole show.

The performance at the Jonesboro Craighead County Public Library is sponsored by the children's library, Arkansas Arts Council, the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Today's performances will conclude the Jonesboro Public Library's summer reading club.

Kinder says the folks watching aren't the only ones being entertained.

"I couldn't not do this....it's just too much fun,"said Kinder.

Kinder says he gets a tremendous amount of joy from the faces he sees staring back at him.

"If I look into the face of a smiling child everyday......I'll live to be 100,"said Kinder.
