Harding men's basketball moves up to #18 in NABC Coaches Poll

SEARCY (HardingSports.com) – Harding men's basketball moved up six places to No. 18 in the NABC Division II Coaches Poll released Tuesday.

Harding defeated Southern Nazarene 71-58 on Thursday in Bethany, Okla., in its only action this week. It was the Bisons' school-record 10th straight victory overall and fourth consecutive road win.

Harding is 17-3 overall and 10-2 in the Great American Conference. The Bisons have a 2½-game lead over Arkansas Tech for the conference lead with eight conference games remaining.

The Bisons return to the road for two games this weekend. Harding plays Thursday against Northwestern Oklahoma State in Alva and Saturday against Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford.

Harding entered the poll last week at No. 24 for the first time this season. The Bisons are joined by three other teams in the Central Region. Minnesota State (18-2) is at No. 5, Winona State is No. 12, and Washburn is No. 17.
