Osceola, AR (KAIT) - Osceola put their name on the big college map with an exciting signing for Region 8 on National Signing Day.
Seminole Runningback/DB Korliss Marshall inked with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Wednesday after much of his time as a recruit was spent as a commitment to UCA. Marshall recently ended up on the radar of the Hogs and a last minute visit resulted in an offer.
"It's been a dream of mine for a long time to play for the Razorbacks," said Marshall. "I went down there for an official visit, it was kind of a last minute thing and I got the offer."
Up until recently the question of Marshall's position at the collegiate level was up in the air. Marshall told Region 8 News on Wednesday that he was recruited as a defensive back and that would be the position he would start at when he went to Arkansas.
Marshall was the 2012 Football Friday Superteam Player of the Year.
