Valley View students get trained on scholarship interviews

JONESBORO,AR (KAIT) – Students at a local high school learned some valuable skillsWednesday.

A"Mock Interview" was held for Valley View High School students. Communityprofessionals questioned each of the students to give them an idea of what itis like in the real world.

Eachstudent had a fifteen to twenty minute interview, and was exposed to somefeedback.

RobynFord is a counselor for Valley View High School and he thinks that the eventwas an accurate program.

"Thepanel lets them know what they did well and then also gives them pointers aboutwhat they can do better next time or in a real situation", Ford says.

Thisis the second year for Valley View to hold this for students.
