JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - Randy Coleman and the Jonesboro Hurricane football program continued their tradition of sending players to the collegiate level on Wednesday by having three players sign the dotted line.
Hurricane football players Kevontae Pope, Paul Preston and Katon Hill signed letters of intent on National Signing Day to continue their careers.
Pope had a fantastic season at wide receiver for Jonesboro and will be heading to Ouachita Baptist University, where he will continue to play wide-out for the Tigers.
Preston is a linebacker and will be displaying his talents at Hendrix, who will sport their first football team since 1960. Preston said he will more than likely continue to be a linebacker or somewhere on the defensive side of the ball.
Hill is also a linebacker for the Hurricane and will be headed to be a linebacker at Harding University.
