JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - The Central Dealerships Hot Shot of the Week nominees for the February 4-8 edition of Fastbreak Friday Night have been announced. Here are this weeks nominees:
BOYS 1 - Big week for Andrew Hovis: He hits the game winning three Tuesday on the road. Friday, he scoops and scores from near the baseline. Hovis helped Greene County Tech get two 5A East wins.
BOYS 2 - Big Friday for Malik Monk: The freshman dropped 36 points in a 75 - 67 win over Osceola. Monk also had another slam session for top ranked East Poinsett County.
GIRLS 1 - Ashleigh Guthrie had 13 points in the 3rd quarter as the #6 Valley View Lady Blazers beat Westside Monday 53-29 to clinch the 3-4A title.
GIRLS 2 - Shelby Wallace was a perfect 5 for 5 outside the arc Monday in a Manila 64 - 56 win over Riverside. The Lady Lion had 28 points in the victory.
