Just days after he was paroled, a Region 8 man is back behind bars accused of breaking into a home.
On Saturday, Lawrence County sheriff's deputies arrested 41-year-old Joseph Daniel Gandy of Bono on charges of residential burglary, theft of property, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe said he hopes to name a replacement in the next several days for the state treasurer, who resigned over accusations she took cash bribes from a bond broker.
