UGallery.com, a curated online art gallery that takes the stress out of buying original art, announced today the extension of their team to include a Director of Marketing. Charlotte Nichols joins the company to lead marketing and brand initiatives for the online original art marketplace.
“We are thrilled to welcome our newest member, Charlotte, to the team. The online market for original art continues to grow, and we are excited to have Charlotte help carve out our positioning within the growing space,” said Alex Farkas, Gallery Director.
UGallery launched in 2006 as one of the first online marketplaces for original, one-of-a-kind art. Since inception, UGallery has steadily grown and now represents approximately 500 artists and has sold art in over 30 countries.
The online model provides clients with a wider range of styles and price points and a more convenient buying experience than traditional art galleries. UGallery offers free returns to its clients to help alleviate perceptions that art is a high-risk purchase that you must see before you buy.
“The convenience and accessibility of shopping for original art online is very valuable for clients. I’m excited to help drive the message that shopping for high-quality art online is easy and low risk,” said Nichols.
Prior to joining UGallery, Charlotte worked in brand management at General Mills in Minneapolis, MN. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University, and her Masters in Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
UGallery.com is a curated online art gallery focused on creating intimate connections between its collection and clients. Founders Stephen Tanenbaum, Alex Farkas, and Greg Rosborough came together in 2006 to create a revolutionary approach to online art sales that democratizes the entire art buying process; simply put, a better way to buy art. UGallery showcases original artwork by new and established artists, putting art that’s quick and easy to explore at clients’ fingertips. Clients can browse the entire collection by price, medium, style, size, color, or artist and give any piece a weeklong test run in their home risk-free.
