One person has died in a crash near Harrisonville, MO, Thursday evening. The crash happened on Missouri Highway 7 and Walker Road. It involved a car and a tractor-trailer. Harrisonville is in Cass County.
Savannah Nash celebrated her 16th birthday last week. She died Thursday when her car slammed into a semi while she was texting during her first time driving by herself.

(WMC-TV) - The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a statewide AMBER Alert for a Georgia girl believed to be abducted by her father. The TBI believes they may travel through Tennessee on their way
The 2-year-girl who was the center of a multi-state AMBER Alert was found safe at Southand Park Gaming and Racing in West Memphis Friday.
KENNETT, MO (KAIT) – Officer responded to a call in
reference to a medical condition and upon arrival discovered meth in the
residence.
Among the meth found, officers also found items of
paraphernalia related to the use and distribution of meth.
They arrested 36-year-old, Calvin Furlow Jr. and 46-year-old
Lisa Dhabolt, for investigation of Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent
to distribute.
Both Kennett natives are awaiting formal charges from the
Prosecutor's office and are being held in the Dunklin County Jail.
East Tennessee Children's Hospital has treated so many babies born dependent on prescription drugs that the facility is now helping other medical centers around the country deal with the crisis.
