"Murder Mystery" at the Jonesboro Library

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – Craighead CountyJonesboro Public Library held a *murder mystery* event today.The event was aninteractive play that gave the audience an opportunity to help solve the crime.

Event organizer Brandi Hodges says the play was a way to show people you can domore at the library than check out books.

"Thereare a lot of people who think that's all we are, and we are a lot more thanjust books so we do shows like this one that say we think outside the box",says Hodges.

Theplay was set in a lodge that was under two avalanches trying to solve a murder.The event was free and library staff members made up the cast.

Theysaid the turn out was larger than expected.
