RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in Arkansas say four people needed hospital treatment for minor injuries after a school bus slid off a road in Russellville as a wintry weather hit the region.
A Pope County dispatcher said the Russellville School District bus had 10 people, including the driver, on board when it crashed north of the city after school Wednesday.
Russellville School Board member Breanne Davis told The Courier newspaper that she was at the hospital visiting the injured. She said three students and the driver had minor injuries.
The crash happened as a winter storm system brought snow and sleet to the region Wednesday.
