4-plus inches of snow in Oklahoma, Arkansas

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Snowfall totals of 4 to 4.5 inches are reported in northeastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas.

The National Weather Service says 4.5 inches had been recorded by 8 p.m. Wednesday in Weleetka and Pocola and four inches in Sallisaw and Grove - all in Oklahoma. The weather service says four inches also fell in Alma and Fort Smith in Arkansas.

Other amounts in Oklahoma include 3.1 inches in Tulsa; three inches in Checotah, Owasso, Bunch and Muskogee; 2.8 inches in Broken Arrow; 2.5 in Jenks; two in Okmulgee and one inch in Okemah.

Other Arkansas totals include two inches in Van Buren and Mulberry; 1.4 inches in Fayetteville and 1.3 inches in Lamar.

An ice storm warning is in effect for the region from midnight Wednesday until 4 p.m. Thursday.
