HARRISBURG, AR (KAIT) – A Trumann man was charged with rape and drug paraphernalia late Friday afternoon.

44-year-old Troy Lawrence McCuller has been set to serve thirty years in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

According to the Prosecuting Attorney, Scott Ellington's Office, The victim was lured to McCulley's home by a mutual female friend. He reportedly placed methamphetamine in the victim's orange juice.  The victim was unaware of the drug and the presence of it was confirmed in her body.

She was led in to a bed located in an outbuilding of McCulley's property. While in the shed the victim was handcuffed to the bed post, placed shackles on her feet and proceeded to have sex with her while the victim was under the influence of meth.

Numerous items were found in the after a search warrant held by the Trumann Police Department. They included sex toys, handcuffs, leg shackles, several adult videos, and drug paraphernalia.

In a press release to Region 8 News, Ellington said, ""I wish the number of rape and sexual assault cases were zero, but until then, my office will not stop prosecuting them to the fullest. I want to thank the Trumann Police Department for their work investigating this case, and my deputy prosecutors Jimmy Gazaway and David Boling for their excellent trial work. If a person chooses to violate the innocence of a child, just like Mr. McCulley, they will pay the consequences"
