JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- Craighead County authorities arrest a 15-year-old suspect wanted in connection to a weekend shooting.
The suspect was arrested Monday by Jonesboro police and the Craighead County Juvenile Department.
Sgt. Lyle Waterworth says in a press release, officers responded to Fairlane St. around 4 a.m. Saturday where it was reported one person was shot. The victim was immediately taken to a local emergency room in an ambulance.
According to Detective Vic Brooks, the victim and suspect were together at a party when the shooting happened.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the police department.
