Two Suspects Arrested in Blytheville Murder Case

BLYTHEVILLE, AR - Two Blytheville residents have been arrested and charged with first degree murder for their alleged roles in connection with a July 14 homicide at a local apartment complex.

Tracy McNichols, 35, and Cassandra Johnson, 30, are charged in the death of George Russell, who died of blunt force trauma to the head, according to the Blytheville Police Department.  The two suspects are each being held on $500,000 bond after being charged with first degree murder in Blytheville District Court this morning.

Meanwhile, police are continuing to investigate the incident, and are currently searching for a third suspect.
