Work on Bull Shoals Dam closes Highway 178 bridge

Mountain Home, Ark.  (USACE) - Upcoming maintenance on Bull Shoals Dam will require Arkansas Highway 178 bridge across the dam to be closed from noon until 4 p.m. March 4 and 8 a.m. until noon March 5. 

The closure has been coordinated with local emergency and law enforcement agencies.  Officials from the Army Corps of Engineers Mountain Home Project Office said they regret any inconvenience this may cause.  If you are traveling in this area, please expect delays, obey flagmen, and operate cautiously around equipment and work crews.
