Total Life Healthcare hosts open house

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT)- An open house was held for the new Total Life Healthcare location at 505 E. Matthews in Jonesboro.

This project was a collaborative effort between St. Bernards and East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. The new facility has a clinic, club PACE area, therapy room and dayplace.

Director of Total Life Healthcare, Becky McDaniel-Ewart, says having all these services available under one roof will help them better serve the community.

McDaniel-Ewart said, "If somebody's not feeling well, they can come in and have their vital signs taken. If they need to see the nurse that day or they need to see Dr. Mulligan, we can usually get them in that day or make an appointment for the next day. And so, it's really like PACE is all about having all eyes, more eyes on that patient."

Around 130 patients are currently participating at Total Life Healthcare.

Thanksgiving is a time to be with loved ones and enjoy good food, but since that is not an option for everyone, members of the Jonesboro community came together to make sure as many people as possible were fed.
