
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Corey Wilford scored 26 points, making 8 of 12 3-pointers, as Southeast Missouri State defeated Austin Peay 108-81 Thursday night.
Tyler Stone scored 20 and Nick Niemczyk added 19 for Southeast Missouri State (15-15, 7-8 Ohio Valley Conference), which set an OVC record with 20 3-pointers.
Wilford's career-high eight 3-pointers tied a record for opponent's 3-point field goals in the Dunn Center.
The Redhawks started the game on a 23-5 run. Wilford made three consecutive 3-pointers during the stretch.
In the first half, Wilford made 6 of 7 3-pointers and had 20 points as Southeast Missouri led 65-30 at halftime.
Southeast Missouri shot 73.5% (25 of 34) while holding Austin Peay to 33.3% (9 of 27) in the first half.
The Redhawks led by as many as 40 points in the second half.
Travis Betran scored 26 points for the Governors (7-23, 3-12), who have lost three straight.
