Following an article discussing the fact that Facebook ads are growing in influence, fishbat releases a statement.
Bohemia, NY (PRWEB) March 02, 2013
On March 2, 2013, fishbat online marketing firm releases a statement following an AllFacebook article by Justin Lafferty regarding the news of how social ads are still leading to sales through several different routes.
According to the AllFacebook article, even though Facebook advertising may not lead to direct sales, social advertising on Facebook is still growing in influence, and increasing sales for companies in several different ways. Companies only have a certain amount of time before the average Facebook fan becomes bored with a page, says the article, and they need to focus on keeping fans interested and engaged.
The article states that, “…the mean time of an average Facebook fan is 25 days. That means on average, brands have less than a month to capture the attention of a fan on Facebook before they get bored with the page, stop engaging, and the page falls lower in the news feed sorting algorithm commonly known as EdgeRank. Because of this, every action that a company makes with regard to social marketing must be well thought-out and deliberate.” The article mentions that online marketing companies should look for growth from social ads in areas like in-store sales, web sales, and brand awareness.
The article mentions that Eric Ludwig, VP and general manager of Rosetta Stone’s North America branch stated that, “For me, it’s that advertising is changing forever. The days of a brand trying to align themselves with a creative agency that creates something like the Geico gecko or the caveman … those days are mostly over. … The most important thing is what customers are saying about your brand. There’s not a single ad that I’ve written that has outperformed a sponsored story ad.”
Sida Li, VP of Internal Operations of fishbat, Inc. knows how important it is for online companies to keep their Facebook users engaged. “The most successful way for a company to fully take advantage of social advertising is to make sure they consistently interact with their fan base. If they fail to consistently interact and lose their fan base, who will their ads reach?”
