SEMO Men's Basketball team wins at Murray State

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) -

The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team defeated Murray State 84-68 Saturday night in Murray on the final night of the regular season.

A.J. Jones led the Redhawks with 20 points.

With the win SEMO improved to 16-15 and 8-8. 6th Seeded Southeast will now play 7th seeded Eastern Illinois Wednesday in the O-V-C Tournament.

Senior Isaiah Canaan scored 22-points for the Racers and now has 1,999 career points.

Murray State is the number two seed in the OVC Tourney and has a bye until the Semifinals on Friday.
