From Arkansas State University

The Arkansas State women's tennis team (2-5) suffered a 6-1 setback at Lamar (4-4) Sunday afternoon.

Lamar was able to sweep the doubles matches to earn an early 1-0 lead, and then picked up a win in five of the six singles matches to claim the victory.

"We played a really good team today," said ASU head coach Marina Engelbrecht. "We need to get back to being a confident team that expects to win. Times like this only make you a stronger player."
