SEMO Basketball team prepares for OVC Tourney Opener

CAPE GIRARDEAU (KFVS) -

The Southeast Missouri State Basketball team returned to practice Monday following big wins over Austin Peay and Murray State.

The Redhawks were so impressive that Senior Guard Corey Wilford was named OVC Player of the Week and junior Guard A.J. Jones was named newcomer of the week.

Southeast will open up play in the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament in Nashville on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m. against Eastern Illinois.
