HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Sister Ginger will try to build on her victory in the Martha Washington in Saturday's running of the $150,000 Honeybee Stakes at Oaklawn Park.
The top five finishers from the Feb. 9 Martha Washington are entered in the 1 1/16-mile Honeybee.
Sister Ginger ran a half-mile in 50 seconds on Sunday to prepare for the race. She'll be in the seven spot among nine starters, with Ricardo Santana Jr. aboard.
The Grade 3 race offers 85 points toward entry in the Kentucky Oaks.
Rose to Gold is to be among the field, under Calvin Borel, who is still trying to notch his 5,000th victory.
Also on Saturday's card is the $150,000 Razorback Handicap.
