CLEBURNE COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - A Cleburne County man is arrested thanks to Facebook tips.

41-year-old Jeremy Shawn Kennedy was arrested on a warrant for residential burglary and theft of property on March 5. The Judsonia man was taken into custody at 615 North Second Street after he went through a trap door in the floor of the residence. Officers found him underneath the home.

Surveillance video from the scene of the burglary posted on the sheriff's office Facebook page resulted in numerous tips. The sheriff's office states those tips made it possible for investigators to identify and locate both Kennedy, and the vehicle used in the crime.

According to the sheriff's office, a surveillance camera recorded Kennedy on February 26 burglarizing a home near Stecker and Hiram Road.

The sheriff's office states the video also showed Kennedy breaking into the home and then leaving with a red Buick Rivera.

Kennedy was taken to the Cleburne County Detention Center. His bond is set at $100,000.

The sheriff's office expects more arrests to be made in the near future.
