(KAIT)- Bumble Bee Foods, LLC, has issued a voluntary recall on cans of 5 oz. Chunk White Albacore and Chunk Light Tuna products.
The FDA says the recall has been issued because the products do not meet the company's standards for being sealed. The recalled cans are not sealed tight enough.
Loose seals or seams could result in product contamination by spoiling, organisms or pathogens which could lead to illness if eaten.
There have been no reports so far of any illness associated with these products.

The above products were were distributed nationwide between Jan. 17 and Feb. 28.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled products should discard the product by disposing in the garbage.
