TRUMANN, AR (KAIT) - Trumann Police are investigating a Friday afternoon fire as arson.

Police Chief Chad Henson tells Region 8 News the fire started just after 4:30 p.m. at an abandoned gin at 301 North Melton.

Trumann Police officers were actually the ones who called in the fire.

The fire is being called "arson" because the building was abandoned and no power was connected.

No one was injured. The building was a total loss.
