WEST MEMPHIS, AR (KAIT) – Police investigate a shooting that leaves a man injured and another dead on Saturday night.
According to the West Memphis Police Department, they responded to a call about shots fired resulting in some injuries. When they arrived to two different homes on Bettis street, they found two men with gunshot wounds.
The first man was transported to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis and was released shortly after.
31-year-old Clifford Daniel Stafford was the second person shot and was taken to the Crittenden Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
West Memphis Detectives are currently following up on leads, but no one has been arrested yet.
Police ask anyone with information on this incident to call the Crittenden County CrimeStoppers at 870-732-4444. They are currently offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the felony arrest in this case.
